Research projects

Currently, I run an ethnorgaphic project titled Living with ADHD in contemporary Poland: an ethnography of a psychiatric disorder using childhood studies methodology. I am a part of an interdisciplinary team focused on exploring various dimensions of childhood in Poland. The research is founded by the National Science Centre in Poland in a FUGA scheme (2015/16/S/HS3/00150).

My earlier project focused on the processes and regimes of memory of communism in Poland. the research was conducted at the University College London as a PhD and was kindly supported by the UCL Graduate School, the Wenner Gren Fundation and the Visegrad Fund. The ethnography was published with PeterLang and is titled Evoking Polish Memory: State, Self and the Communist Past in Transition.
