Relying on the background in linguistics, sociology and anthropology, I studied collective identities, geographic mobility practices (niche tourism) and leisure. My recent fieldwork has been among Polish migrants in the UK and US as well as among Vietnamese and Ukrainian migrants in Poland. The project I was involved in most recently is on the media and institutional reactions to the so called refugee crisis in Europe. I curretnly start new research on urban greenspaces, and continue working on migrants' leisure and the good life.
